Water Colour pencils offer the artist the freedom to switch from drawing to painting in an instant with no change in tools. The coloured surface can be transformed with just a few fine or broad brush strokes.

Fully water soluble leads can be blended quickly and easily when wet and become permanent when dry for rich watercolour effect. The colours are consistent when wet or dry. Depending on the paper being used, the pigments can dissolve completely, and will behave in the same way as classic watercolour paints: paint becomes permanent when dry, enabling other layers of colour to be superimposed without causing it to dissolve again. Use them to shade on dry paper, then quickly wash over with brush and water to get a blending effect. Use wetted paper for intensified colors with softened edges, or try wetting the pencil first for rich, textured lines. Smooth colour laydown, when blended when dry there is no waxy build up. High quality pigments produce intense colour saturation. Pencils have an ergonomic hexagonalshape. Highly pigmented leads are 3.3mm and are SV-bonded to resist breakage.
