The Sleep Store Wool Underlay Washable (Cot Size)

We are super excited about our Sleep Store wool underlay! It’s made from plush wool pile fleece, with cotton edging and elastic straps to keep it in place.

The luxuriously plush wool fibres of our underlay create a soft and snugly sleeping surface that little ones just love. The natural temperature regulating properties of wool help to keep them warm in winter and cool in summer.

And what makes our wool underlay extra useful it that you can throw it in the washing machine! Underlays and mattress protectors can get icky when they are around children and parents need an underlay that is easy to care for. Just throw it in the wash with liquid wool wash and then line or low tumble dry. The light soft fleece dries very quickly.

The 100% pure wool underlay has all the comfort and benefits of a traditional sheepskin with the safety of a lower pile and major advantage of being machine washable.

Temperature regulating natural fibres help to keep your little one just the right temperature all night. We recommend maintaining a room temperature of 18-20°C where possible, to create a comfortable sleep environment. Where this isn’t possible, we recommend the use of natural fibre sleepwear combined with your wool duvet inner.

Age Recommendation
We recommended using with babies over 6 months old (which is beyond the SIDS risk age group when a firm surface without any mattress topper is recommended).
